BUCKS NIGHT (Mon 6th)

So the big night had arrived! Old mate Compare' Daz had arranged for a dinner and floor show at the Coba Cabana in Melbourne of which entailed spanish/latino type cuisine (big giant meat sticks containing selection of chicken/pork/lamb and beef) all washed down with a few jugs of the good stuff. Prior to hitting the club we had a few starters and a catchup at the pad where Daz, Trav, Courtsta and Ganesy were staying (Big OB also dropped in ... hadn't seen him for near on 6 years). Poosies had knocked up a little nostalgic compilation of which we all sat down and had a good laugh to ... cheers mate! In true Darwinite tradition Ganesy lined me up a Darwin stubby ... a tidy tank which ultimately followed me all the way to the Crown Casino Cloak room. Checking in a stubby to the cloak room ... yep! Anyway, meanwhile back at the Cabana .... yours truly got roped into a dance comp and fortunately the lessons taken earlier in the year for the wedding payed dividends. Luckily the lady in white pants could dance ... and was happy to partake in a little bit of toe action as well. The trophy was mine! The night drifted on ... the old man and Ragsy departed and the rest of us headed into town to another club (of which shall remain nameless ... also picked out by Castelli ... say no more!) and then off to the Cachino! Don't recall gambling ... do remember Trav picking up some coin! Headed home (all faculty's in tact!!!!) woke up 2 hours later ... primed up with a double black ice vodka and headed off to De's place for a champagne breakfast prior to the Cup feeling suprisingly fit (and still drunk ... funny that?!). Was a great night ... the best part being catching with the boys, the old man and the bro again all in the one spot ... a definite rarity these days and something that should change. Bloody work .....! Thanks again to Daz for organising and all the boys for making it .... cheers!
