KALGAN POOL - 19th April 2007Kalgan Pool always cops a visit when friends or family come to visit us in Newman. This time I accompanied Donna and her visitors! 
I was amazed at how little water there was in the pool...it is usually around the top of the white mark on the rocks (seen at the left of the photo on the right).
On this trip, our German friend Judith was lucky enough to be introduced to our unwelcome Pilbara picnic buddies - the flies....much to her dismay, they are likely to follow her as she continues her trip around the top end of Australia! Ahhhh the joys of the Great Aussie Outback!
I think there is still a couple more months before the weather cools down enough for the flies to dissipate!
