Relax with Max down in South WA
Sat 4th to Thur 10th April
Once again Balin was on our side during the plane trip from Newman to Perth. Each flight I wonder if this time he will be unhappy and whether we will be able to keep him occupied long enough so he doesn't disturb other passengers with wriggling and tears.... I know that time will eventually come, but for now there is peace in the air!!
The car was a different story though. Our little man is not so keen on being strapped into the hire car seat. He seems to know the difference between his own carseat and that of the hire car. He is quite content driving around Newman! I wonder if it is the rev of the V8 engine or whether he actually recognises the landmarks around Newman and knows he will never be in the car more than a few minutes at a time ... whatever it is, it makes an interesting thought!
Sooo ... we had tears at the start of the journey down South, with a stop off to visit Aimee in Fremantle. Very nice pad they now have - right on the river across from Leftbank - their new local! Kev was at the footy with his brother - watching his Eagles cop a walloping from the Dockers in the Derby... hee hee hee!!
After a quick stop off at Dalyellup to say hi to the family, we headed off on our final leg arriving at the Yallingup Holiday Park around 7:30pm.
